In its own land, of its own land
The heart of CEFA’s activity are the projects, that our passionate cooperating and volunteers pursuite, never looking at their watch, paying attention and spending every penny carefully.
In the last 45 years CEFA worked in Africa, Central America, South America and Balkans, giving employment to more of 15 thousand people on the ground. In the last 15 CEFA invested in the developing countries around 50 million of euro to realise cooperation projects whose beneficiaries were about 2 million.
In the past year we realised 32 projects.

Our areas of intervention
CEFA is present in the North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia and Libia), in the Horn of Africa(Ethiopia, Somalia), East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique), in Central America (Guatemala) and Latin America (Ecuador).

What is CEFA?
CEFA is a non-governmental organisation recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,by EU and UN.
It was founded by Giovanni Bersani, great italian and european parliamentarian , and by Padre Angelo Cavagna, a pacifist priest, e by some agricultural cooperatives of Bologna area.
